The Sher-Wood 5000 wood stick has a shaft that is made of multi-layer birch topped with a laminate to create a responsiveness not found in all wood sticks. The blade of this wood hockey stick is constructed with ice hockey in mind using superior white ash core that is surrounded by multi-directional and highly impact resistant fiberglass. This construction process creates a stiff blade with limited torqueing for increased shooting accuracy.
